A little bit about me

I’m a Vermont-based writer, editor, storyteller, and craftsman specializing in outdoor, lifestyle, and brand content.

I help companies create thoughtful, engaging content that connects with customers and drives results. Over the years, I’ve worked with brands and organizations including REI, Gaia GPS, Cascade Gear Reviews, and Vermont Land Trust. I also spent 12 years at REI headquarters developing product copy, editorial content, blog posts, signage, and packaging across a wide range of categories.

My work is grounded in strong reporting, careful research, SEO strategy, and a journalism background — all with the goal of creating content that’s useful, credible, and human.

In addition to writing, I run a small woodworking business creating handcrafted custom awards and recognition pieces. I’m drawn to work that combines creativity, storytelling, and attention to detail — whether I’m shaping a narrative or building something by hand.

When I’m away from the keyboard or the workbench, you’ll usually find me outside hiking, climbing, skiing, biking, or running.
